The ArcWest team is collaborating with our client, in coordination with civil and structural engineering team, to develop the design for a thoughtful addition and renovation of this century-old mountain home.
The proposed addition includes a new primary suite, a two-car garage, and an expansive southwest-facing deck that captures sweeping views of the Continental Divide. Interior renovations will modernize the kitchen and simplify the bedroom and bath layout to improve flow and create more functional, usable spaces. The design also replaces the original steep stair with a code-compliant stair, enhancing safety and circulation from the foyer and main entry.
Respectful of the natural setting and neighboring view corridors, the design takes the form of a low-profile ranch that opens on the downhill side, framing long views into the surrounding mountain forest.
