Mt. Zion (Lookout Mountain) – Home Pop Top Yields Million Dollar View

ArcWest Architects is helping homeowners in Golden’s Lookout Mountain neighborhood gain more space and take advantage of the area’s beautiful natural views. To achieve these goals, ArcWest recommended adding a second story by popping the top on the existing 1972 ranch single-story home. Popping the top allows the homeowners to access dramatic, unobstructed views across Golden to South Table Mountain. ArcWest also designed a complete remodel of the home’s interior as part of the project. When complete, the newly remodeled and expanded home will feature vaulted spaces, Nakamoto Forestry burnt wood siding, and an open tread steel stair.
