ArcWest Architects had the honor of working with Iain Chisholm and team to provide tenant improvements for DADA Art Bar, a new restaurant, bar and art gallery in an existing commercial “vanilla box” space. The client had very clear desires and expectations for the project.
The core concept for the DADA Art Bar was to have a continuous stream of fresh local artwork displayed in the space as a focus for conversation as well as a backdrop to enjoy a cold plate and glass of wine. The wine bar was designed to have two main areas. The front most public area was designed to offer casual and comfortable seating to relax and sip. Towards the back, a semi-private space was designed to be an open gallery, and is available for private events.
NOTE: This venue is now permanently closed.
