Black Sky Brewery selected ArcWest Architects to provide planning, layout and brewery design services for this new local tap room.
ArcWest helped Black Sky turn a former industrial dry cleaner space, located just south of the Santa Fe Arts district, into a favorite local hangout for beer, pizza, and music. The brewery’s design features a heavy metal motif and hard rock edge, which customers love. Black Sky offers 23 taps featuring in-house and guest brews, and serves a distinct New Haven Style Pizza.
This particular building was ideal for the conversion of occupancy / change of use. It offered high ceilings, regular geometries, ample utility service, generous service entrance and un-improved side yards for a future (phase 2) beer garden.
ArcWest also provided logistical support and design required to receive a “change of occupancy” and building permits from the City of Denver.
