Arcwest Architects was hired by Motorado, a used powersports equipment consignment shop, to provide an efficient, hip and slightly retro design for their new space in Lakewood. The company decided to move into the building next door since the lease on the existing space was coming to an end. Additionally, the space no longer fit their growing consignment operation due to limited ability to display and re-sell off road equipment like ATV’s and snowmobiles.
The adjacent building was operated most recently as a dog day care, however it was once a repair garage with large overhead door openings, a large pole sign and visibility from 6th Ave, offering an excellent opportunity for Motorado and their growing business. Arcwest provided a design that utilized as much of the existing buildings attributes while modifying it to work perfectly for Motorado’s specific needs.
The newly renovated space now provide Motorado with plenty of interior space to display their large inventory of motorcycles for sale. The new space also incorporates large overhead doors and a signage marquee to increase curb appeal, overall visibility and drive business sales.
